Management Accountant

Location – Blackpool area

Salary – £40,000 to £42,000

About the company:

A well established and growing leisure business based in the Blackpool area. You’ll be working closely with the Financial Controller and manging a small finance team, alongside focusing on the production of the monthly accounts.


Responsibilities include:

  • To provide support to the Financial Controller.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Weekly and monthly financial reporting.
  • Ensure strong financial controls are in place.
  • Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Management of the finance team.
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Complete VAT returns.
  • Assist with the annual audit and year end accounts.



Skills/Qualifications required:

  • Have experience working in a similar finance role
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have good time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong Excel skills
