As a junior position within Hotcam, the role will be primarily focussed in the warehouse providing support to more senior members of the team through the management and maintenance of systems equipment, checking in, disassembling racks, cleaning and inventory management.

As you become more experienced, you will begin to work on location to guarantee lower-level complexity solutions, such as RF rigs for PSC multicamera projects and low footprint gallery solutions. This genre of work will serve as your training ground before moving on to learn how to guarantee more complex systems.  

 

The role necessitates working with staff across the business to ensure that Neon interfaces with the other departments, particular with regard to assessing upcoming jobs, asset workflow around the warehouse and managing the returns process.  

 

Hotcam is a multi-disciplinary and multi-departmental operation, and our unique selling point is that we provide full solutions. As a junior member of the team, you will be seen as the next generation of Technical Manager and Guarantee Engineer, so upskilling is key part of this role, tying your personal development to broader company objectives.  

  

The Junior Engineer reports to the Technical Director and works in a trainee capacity alongside the Senior Guarantee Engineer and Technical Manager. This team works together to run and maintain the department, and also work together as a cohesive team on location to guarantee more complex solutions.
