A next generation Aviation client specialising in the electrification of Commercial and Miltitary Aircrafts are actively seeking talented professionals to join to help next generation development.

They are currently on the lookout for a Mechanical specialised Technician to help the R&D team with harness and cabling modifications.

This position will be a 3 month Contract, Outside IR35, and will be onsite in Bristol.

Responsibilities of Technician Position

Due to the team being small and specialised, you will be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, therefore having any form of industry experience in the past is necessary.

My client are also looking for someone with more of a mechancical bias, so having previous mechanical technician experience is needed (working on assemblies, physical tasks etc).

Main Requirements:

  • Previous Mechanical Technician experience in industry
  • Assemblies of Test Rigs
  • Building rigs and machine tools
  • Installation experience

My client also acknowledge experience in other areas of Mechanical and Electrical design, especially working within Aviation or EV sector.
