A successful Principal Consultant understands that DevOps excellence is achieved through both technology and cultural change. They have technical expertise across DevOps and Cloud, along with experience leading and advising C-level executives and evangelizing solutions.



Skills

  • Thorough understanding of DevOps and Cloud technologies and Agile ways of working.
  • An opinionated thought-leader through internal, client and industry engagement, blogging and speaking at events, with the ability to inspire and lead with genuine passion for technology and best practice.
  • A wealth of experience planning, building and leading large-scale DevOps transformation.
  • Understanding of the role data and observability plays in DevOps, from measuring and improving efficiency in the development process, to providing application and infrastructure insights.

Expertise in technologies such as:

  • Containerisation (Kubernetes, EKS/AKS).
  • CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
  • IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/Crossplane).
  • Monitoring and Observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog).
  • Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • High proficiency in common programming language, preferably Python.
  • Be an evangelist of secure by design and DevOps methodologies and principles.

Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
