Are you an expert Steel Estimator who is looking to maximise your steel industry knowledge and work with the premier steel manufacturing and engineering organisations in Norfolk, where you will work for a tight-knit, progressive company who will value your steel knowledge, sales ability and reward you accordingly?

On offer is the opportunity to join a Norfolk-based manufacturer, specialising in steel structures and steel framed buildings. You will be part of an organisation at the top of their game, with extensive in-house production facilities, a close-knit atmosphere and supportive environment, based on team work, experience, and quality. They attract the premier clients of East Anglia and are the 'go-to' choice in the region.

You will be responsible for estimating for bespoke steel solutions as part of the Sales Department, working within the Norwich office, selling Steel solutions and liaising with clients on the telephone.

The role:

  • Produce detailed cost estimates and quotations for Steel solutions
  • Undertake detailed and accurate 'take offs' from ITT information and drawings.
  • Customer facing experience and good telephone communication skills are essential.
  • Mentor and support Trainee Estimators
  • Provide financial reporting to Senior management as requested.

The person:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Steel and experience of Estimating
  • Experience with Technical Sales
