Our client:

  • London office of a global hedge fund
  • Focus on discretionary trading strategies
  • Able to structure the desk format to the traders need
  • In a position to offer to the right candidate immediately


Applicant requirements:

  • Clear track record of proprietary trading experience required
  • Five or more of professional experience on a trading desk at either a major hedge fund, bank, or top-tier proprietary trading firm
  • Ability to articulate their strategy
  • Has been running risk greater than $1M VAR PA
  • Having spent time as fundamental analyst prior to trading is a plus


Candidate skill set:

  • Be passionate about the opportunity to execute proprietary trading strategies
  • Comfort running significant risk on their own proprietary trading book
  • Enjoy being a key member of a high-performance team and work intimately with our traders
  • Assume complete ownership for maximising their rate of personal and professional development


Compensation: Competitive base salary, performance pay as a % of desk profit, potential for buy outs of deferred bonus
