We are seeking a talented Equity Derivatives Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in either equity derivatives, futures and options with a strong analytical mindset, IT proficiency, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the trading desk, operations, client services and senior management.
Responsibilities:
You must have experience in settlements and corporate actions across equities, equity derivatives or futures and options.
Have the ability to liaise with trading desks, client services and senior management
IT Solutions: Leverage technology tools and platforms to streamline trading operations, automate processes, and enhance trading efficiency. Work closely with IT and quantitative teams to suggest improvements in processes and working practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in equity derivatives, futures, and options, preferably within a financial services firm
Curiosity and eagerness to learn about financial markets, derivatives products, and trading strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
Ambitious and self-motivated, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
