After a 2nd internal promotion, a new opportunity has arisen for an electrical examiner to become a valuable addition to our dynamic and thriving team
YOUR ROLE
As part of our dedicated team overseeing the care of our cutting-edge Telecommunication and Optical equipment, you will play a pivotal role in conducting preventative maintenance, thorough investigations, examinations, and conditioning of on-site equipment and its associated sub-assemblies. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring optimal performance, and you'll use approved data to efficiently manage and maintain our equipment stock. Join us in this dynamic role where your technical prowess and attention to detail contribute to the seamless operation of our telecommunications infrastructure.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure individual production targets are met and ensure all job related paperwork is completed in line with KPI's
At all times comply with Health & Safety policy as defined by the appropriate Processes and Health and Safety Data and a safe working environment is maintained.
Ensure documentation and working practices comply with business quality procedures, requirements and standards
Multiskilling across Technical Services work zones as business need dictates.
Knowledge of workshop practices, and to be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Use trade skills and qualifications in conjunction with current approved data to be able to complete jobs effectively.
Carry out line examination on returned stores in support of storehouse activities.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as directed by Front Line Manager (FLM)/Team Leader (TL).
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Recognised Electronics/Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in the relevant trade groups.
Good organisational skills.
Good Communication skills - both written and verbal.
Ability to work as part of a team
