The Role:

As the Digital Demand Generation Manager, you will be responsible for driving continued growth in the business. As a part of this role, you will jointly develop and manage campaigns as well as build the digital client acquisition engine to fuel future growth ambitions. Our client are looking for candidates with world-class digital marketing skills who have the ability to optimise and execute strategies using platforms and tools without agency support. As well as the ability to execute, we are looking for candidates who have an entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset with ideas to bring to the role that focus on driving growth at pace.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Develop a digital demand generation engine:

  • Develop digital marketing strategy to drive growth targets and engagement at every step of the funnel and across channels.
  • Plan and build an innovative demand generation engine as a “strategic lever” to help achieve future growth ambitions through a mixture of process, technology and digital marketing tactics.
  • Develop a roadmap for the continuous optimisation of demand generation strategies.

Develop campaigns to drive engagement and leads:

  • Develop, test and optimise campaign strategy to reach potential clients and place informative content at critical stages in their financial journey using tactics across the marketing mix (e.g. blogs, events, social, paid ads, email etc).
  • Identify key audiences and refine journey strategies to ensure we are targeting the right type of clients in the right places.
  • Work cross-functionally across the organisation to help execute marketing efforts.
  • Build and optimise a measurement and reporting program to transparently evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement of all marketing activities.

Manage, operate and optimise marketing platforms and tools

  • Manage and develop critical marketing platforms and tools such as HubSpot, social platforms and Google platforms to ensure we are adhering to best practice and extracting as much value as possible from our spend.
  • Strategise on continuous improvement of our digital stack, implementing plans where appropriate

Work with Business Development to create conversion efficiencies

  • Work with the Business Development team to help drive conversion through wrap-around digital campaigns and automated comms.
  • Develop strategies to increase brand awareness within target firms and targeted potential clients to increase opportunities in the pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in digital marketing
  • Experience within financial services / fintech or investment management
  • Experience building hybrid digital and offline lead generation models in complex and long sales cycles and regulated environments
  • Experience building and executing lead generation and demand generation processes
  • Experience using the HubSpot platform, in particular automating email communications, lead scoring and other marketing functionality

Experience using marketing tools such as:

  • Google Analytics 4 & other Google platforms (e.g. Tag Manager, Search Console etc)
  • HotJar (or other similar tools)
  • WordPress
  • Clickup
  • Salesforce (nice-to-have)

Experience using the following platforms to generate paid traffic and leads (in-particular using first-party-data to build lookalike audiences)

  • LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager
  • Google PPC / Retargeting / Display

Experience developing and optimising lead generation using digital marketing and demand generation strategies. In particular, experience in the following would be highly advantageous:

  • ABM (Account based marketing)
  • Integrated lead generation models (with online and offline touchpoints)
  • Marketing Automation
  • Experience managing the build of websites with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimization in a complex sales environment to niche audiences

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Suite [Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides] for creating presentations, documents, and managing emails and calendars
  • Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of web metrics and digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyse and interpret data as well as suggest improvement
  • Competent in Excel
  • Knowledge of SEO is a plus
