Network Security Engineer - Multi-Strat Systematic Trading - Hybrid - Comp in Excess of £200,000

  • They use bleeding edge technologies across high performance engineering, low-latency network infrastructure, cloud and opensource to analyse huge volumes of data and execute trades in the sub-microsecond region.

Role

  • Hands on engineering with a focus on network security, infrastructure and automation for systems supporting algo trading.
  • Working across a hybrid on-prem and public cloud (AWS) ecosystem.
  • Own and be the point of knowledge for network security across multiple engineering teams, helping to solve complex scalability challenges.

Requirements

  • Expert network security engineering experience in a low-latency environment.
  • Experience managing a large server estate and public cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of firewall network solutions such as SASE, CASB, Proxies etc.
  • Understanding of encryption and DevOps/infra security in general.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Networking or related field
  • Development experience with programming languages
  • SQL database or relational database skills
