Morar UKs new residential care facility in Wimborne is a purpose built state of the art luxury care home. We are looking for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to come and join our team, working with us to develop a strong quality focused care team delivering high-quality person cantered care to older people who choose to reside with us.
Our Home Manager will be autonomous in responsibility for the overall management of their Community, will be fully involved in the commissioning process and in the recruitment of their care team. The successful candidate will require skills and experience in sales, leadership, financial management, customer and team engagement, recruitment and regulatory CQC compliance.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
As the head of the Home, strong leadership and coaching skills are paramount. Communication skills are vital to be able to demonstrate empathy, engage team members, and work with families and residents alike.
Essential for the role:
Proven management experience at a similar level
A clinical background, ideally a registered nurse.
Established leadership skills to manage large teams
Effective multi-tasking and prioritization
Strong commercial awareness and competency care industry preferred but not required
Knowledge of Care Quality Commission, CCG and local authority requirements and expectations
A Registered Manager with relevant experience in a senior management capacity is desirable
