A global Infrastructure/Renewable Energy developer and Manager is seeking a Regulatory Manager for its office in London


Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO and Board, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Planning Authorities Management

· Liaising with planning authorities; and

· Ensuring compliance with planning obligations.

· Consents and Permits

· Managing land and marine environmental consents

· Managing compliance with all land and marine environmental requirements

· Managing ongoing Environmental obligations and impact on budget

OFTO Licence

· Compliance and monitor activity of the Offshore Electricity Transmission Licence

STC Code and Import/Export Agreements and Management

· Managing the compliance with the System Operator Transmission Owner Code (STC);;

· Responsible for submitting proposed changes to the STC, changes to be reviewed by the STC modification panel and approved by the panel or by Ofgem and monitored in the process.

· Manage the Import agreements for ancillary services and their renewals and any necessary Export agreements

· Negotiating and setting up new Import and Export agreements as necessary; and

· Ensuring compliance with the grid requirements and new grid code requirements.

Other Authorities

· Managing the compliance with the System Operator Transmission Owner Code (STC)

· Managing all OFGEM communications.

· Managing all public communications with involved public authorities.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a regulatory role at an Infrastructure/Renewables developer or a regulatory authority
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to devise and implement robust regulatory practices
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
