Facilities Coordinator

The Recruitment Co are hiring a full time Facilities Coordinator for their client based in Perth.

Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
08.15-16.45 Monday-Thursday
08.15-13.15 Friday
30 minute unpaid break
Location: Perth

Role and respons ibilities:
Carry out general maintenance activities in and around the site.
General janitorial duties.
Cleaning of key safety equipment (fire extinguishers, fire exit signage, etc).
Cleaning and painting of factory surfaces.
Operate cleaning equipment (hoover, ride on floor scrubber, leaf vacuum, etc).
Emptying of skips, scrap bags, recycling bins, cardboard baling.
Emptying of settlement tanks.
Cleaning canteen fridges, first aid room, operatate sanitising machine.
Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

What we are looking for:
Practical skills such as painting, decorating, woodwork, basic mechanical skills.
Proactive and the ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction.
Ability to coordinate work plans with other departments to minimise disruption.
Communication skills.
Willing to pass on the job training for counterbalance forklift licence.
