Job Description 

The Quality Manager will be responsible for the  quality of all  OSS Products and services . 
They will have full responsibility for Customer feedback and any Issue management.

Main  Responsibilities

To engage with the OSS leadership team to identify and eliminate quality risks within the process, and subsequently mitigate the risks identified. To bring together key stakeholders to resolve internal 
and customer issues within targeted timeframes.
  • The QM Is responsible for Quality Meetings, Quality Technical Support Services and Products .
  • Liaises with suppliers through the procurement manager to resolve quality concerns and coordinate internal actions where necessary.
  • Develops Quality Plan and Roadmaps to meet Customer Satisfaction, Warranty and internal quality  metrics using company standards.
  • Coordinates Production and manufacturing teams to improve quality using 6 - Sigma methodology .
  • Responsible for leading Quality Operating System (QOS) initiatives across all the manufacturing and production facilitates.
  • Keep traceability records regarding quality actions for future reference.
  • Manage quality documentation on the company’s IT solutions .
  • Co - ordinate/Participate in Quality audits.
  • Lead cross functional team initiatives in quality to achieve no faults forward / zero defects.
  • Lead 8D resolution of warranty and customer concerns working together with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the QMS conforms to customer and regularity requirements .
  • Manage the customer complaints process .
  • Manage the Change process .
  • Provide Quality data to enable site improvement .
  • Manage & Review sites scorecard .
  • Specific knowledge of customers and products .

Qualifications / Essential Skills
  • Degree qualified in a technical discipline, preferably Engineering or Scientific background.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role.
  • Minimum of Six Sigma Green Belt certified but preferably Black Belt certified.
  • Working Knowledge of Advanced tools.
  • Experience in implementing and Managing quality Accreditation
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and  VDA 6.3 implementation & certification
  • Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards
