My client  is a leading passive & active fire protection specialist across Greater London and the United Kingdom with unrivalled expertise, providing solutions and services in the specification and installation of passive fire protection systems.With a commitment to quality and safety, we specialise in the installation and maintenance of fire doors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for skilled Fire Door Installers to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating safer properties.

- Are you an experienced Fire Door Installer?
- Do you have extensive experience in the compliance of fire safety and installation?

As a Fire Door Installer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of fire doors in various settings, including commercial and residential properties. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in upholding industry standards and keeping people safe from the threat of fire.

Role Responsibilities
A Fire Door installer plays a critical role in the fire stopping industry, you will be responsible for the completion of installations for current and future fire door contracts.

  • Install, repair, and maintain fire doors according to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify any deficiencies or issues with existing fire doors.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Document work completed, including inspection reports and maintenance records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client questions or concerns.
Requirements
You’ll be a well presented, approachable and professional, self-starter. Excellent organisation and time management is essential for this role with the ability to work under pressure. Your attention to detail will be thorough and accurate. You must demonstrate effective management and prioritisation of your workload and work to strict deadlines.

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • Knowledge of fire door standards and regulations.
  • A clean UK driving license and use of own vehicle
  • FIRAS or BM TRADA Experience
  • Asbestos awareness
  • NVQ level 3 Carpentry
Must have own vehicle
Rate will be discussed with each candidate and will be set dependant on experience and qualifications.
