Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: Up to £34,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus – OTE £40,000+

We are looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician to join our busy service team in Bury St Edmunds.
We require a self-motivated individual, who is able to use their own initiative to work alongside our existing team in their busy service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Undertaking vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
  • Providing accurate and detailed reports on vehicle condition, work performed and recommendations for further repairs or maintenance.
  • Collaborating effectively with other team members to deliver exceptional service and meet customer expectations.

The Ideal candidate will:
  • Have a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Have a full and valid driving licence.
  • Possess a flexible approach and a positive attitude.
  • Be committed to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
  • Help achieve sales targets as set out by service Manager.
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard at all times.
  • Comply with Health & Safety Procedures.
  • Comply with Company administrative procedures i.e. Use clock card machine, complete job cards etc
