Job Description:
  • The Maintenance manager will line manage a team of direct labour staff and will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of both planned and reactive (preventative) maintenance across the entire site . 
  • You will need to plan and deliver a comprehensive programmes and this will involve allocating and supervising the work as well as the annual budget management associated with delivering.
  • As well as line managing an in-house team of direct labour there will also be a requirement to use external contractors and you will be involved in both the procurement of these services and the management of contractors whilst they are on site. 
  • You'll also work closely with the Head of Safety to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with statutory health & safety regulations. 

The Successful Applicant:
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in overseeing the delivery of Building Services/Maintenance ( Inc grounds and Gardens) at a large-scale venue.
  • It is expected that you will have a qualification related to Building Services at HNC/HND level or higher.
  • Must have 2/3 years within a large-scale Maintenance Manager role.
  • Must be commercially minded with a proactive approach.
