Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician
 Salary (2 Options):
  • Option 1 - Up to £17 per hour + £150 monthly bonus = £37,160
  • Option 2 - Up to £18 per hour with no bonus = £37,440
 Location: Gateshead, NE8 3HL
 Full Time and Permanent – Monday to Friday – 40 hours a week - 8.30am-5.00pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
 We are a well respected independent garage.
 Due to growth we are now actively looking to recruit for a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for our new garage in Gateshead.  Role is only working Monday to Friday, so no weekends.
 As a qualified Vehicle Technician you will be at the very heart of our customer experience, keeping them on the road so they can get safely from A to B and taking great pride in a job well done.
 Working with a talented team, you’ll repair, service and care for all kinds of vehicles – identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards. Working to MOT and manufacturer standards, you’ll focus on delivering customer satisfaction and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer.
 Requirements:
  • Candidates ideally will be Level 3 Qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance, however we are are happy to consider someone who is Level 2 Qualified and can repair / replaces clutches and Cam belts (salary will be less if Level 2 qualified).
  • Previous vehicle technician experience in a busy garage is essential.
  • Full and Valid driving license is essential.
