Lead Auditor

As an Auditor, you will play a vital role in conducting audits and inspections for various industries ranging from manufacturing to construction. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate safety measures, operational processes, and compliance with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and strong understanding of different industry operations and safety protocols will contribute to the continuous improvement of our clients' establishments.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate safety protocols, ride equipment, facility infrastructure, emergency response plans, crowd management procedures, and other relevant areas.
  • Identify potential risks, hazards, or non-compliance issues and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with client teams to implement corrective actions and enhance safety measures.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory updates to ensure audits align with current standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, observations, and recommended actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in maintaining and enhancing safety standards.

Profile:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for safety and a strong background in auditing. The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Must have a qualification in auditing or demonstrable experience
  • Chartership (or working towards) to a quality or auditing institution such as IIA or CQI would be preferable, but we will be happy to assist with this for the right person.
  • A strong knowledge of the process of auditing and the systems required to efficiently carry this out.
  • Have a knowledge and a drive to implement new systems to efficiently audit.
  • Have a good understanding of ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of the application of the Health and Safety at Work Act, Health and Safety Guidance 175, BS EN 15567, BS EN 1176, and BS EN 23659 is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficient in the suite of Microsoft platforms for developing apps such as Power Apps or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in report writing.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting compliance/competence post audits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop, support, and enhance the growth of the auditing capability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
