Warehouse Manager 

We are working with a drink’s wholesaler, looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Manager to facilitate the smooth running of the operation at their Holywell site The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and ensuring the smooth flow of goods.

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for implementing effective business processes whilst overseeing a team consisting of Operatives, Drivers and an Assistant Manager.
 
Salary: £35,000 Location: Greenfield Business Park, CH8Hours: 08:00-18:00, working 4 days per week - 40 hours. (Ideal rota would be a 4 on, 3 off pattern, however this can be discussed). The company operates 7 days a week, so you must be flexible to work weekends.  

Duties Include:

• Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all warehouse regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and systems
• Monitor profit loss statements and implement cost-saving measures where necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed
• Ensure the smooth running of the overall warehouse operation

The Candidate:

• Proven experience in warehouse management 
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles
• Familiarity with TMS and WMS
• Proficient in using forklifts or other warehouse equipment
• Experience working with 3PL providers 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement
