Salary: £33,500 starting, negotiable based on experience
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Overview:
Link3 Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and trustworthy Caretaker for a nursery in NW2, London. This role requires responsibility for site maintenance, safety, security, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including snow and leaf removal, and perform some light gardening tasks.
  • Respond to any damage or vandalism and ensure the premises remain secure.
  • Assist with minor carpentry, brickwork, painting, plumbing, and roofing repairs.
  • Regularly test emergency lighting and playground equipment, and log results.
  • Open and lock the premises as required and provide security cover outside of school hours.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Caretaker or Facilities role.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
  • Grade C or above in English, Maths, and Science.
