Accident Repair Bodyshop

Join our client's highly efficient and professional body shop team with 20 years of unparalleled passion for vehicle body repair.  With over 650 qualified and passionate employees, our client is a multi-award-winning company boasting 35 body shops nationwide.
 

They are now actively recruiting for a Vehicle Damager Assessor / VDA Estimator for their Bodyshop in Yeovill.

Main Purpose of role:Produce initial and updated estimates as specified by insurers/customers, ensuring that the vehicle repair can be carried out safely, to correct specification, efficiently, and that by doing so, a satisfactory profit margin can be generated. 

About You:You must be able to:
  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready for agreed timescales.
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
  • Carry out work in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible in your approach.
  • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy

Technical Job Knowledge:The level and scope of the Vehicle Damage Assessor will be to maintain the outcomes of VDA Accreditation, Audatex, IMI Customer Service Practitioner Level 2, Level 3 ADAS, and IMIAL Level 3 Hybrid & Electric Vehicle.

It is expected that the job holder will research emerging technical knowledge and automotive developments that may be present within present and future vehicles that may affect the repair following accident damage. This may involve consequential formal training, distance, or remote training.

A minimum of 3 years of VDA experience is preferred and candidates must hold a full and valid driving license
