As a Doggy Daycare Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to oversee all aspects of our daycare facility, ensuring the highest level of care for our furry friends. You will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated staff members and creating a welcoming and enriching experience for both our canine guests and their owners.

Our outdoor daycare has just been awarded a 5***** Outstanding rating by Chelmsford Council.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the daycare facility, including scheduling, staff management, and ensuring optimal customer service.
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of all dogs under our care.
• Develop and lead engaging activities and playgroups that promote socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation for our furry guests.
• Train and mentor staff members, providing guidance, feedback, and ongoing support to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Manage client relationships by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and meeting budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a dog daycare or similar animal care setting.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong knowledge of dog behavior, breed characteristics, and appropriate playgroup dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions when necessary.
• A genuine love and understanding of dogs, with a passion for providing top-notch care.
• Level 3 Animal Management or equivalent 
• Manuel Drivers Licence 

Shift patterns are:

• Monday to Friday 
• 7.30am - 17.30am
