Quality Engineer

We are delighted to be recruiting for our client who are a genuine market leader, design and manufacturing a range of engineered solutions for a global brand network.

 Seeking to appoint their new Quality Engineer you will join the wider quality team where you will support the maintenance and improvement of the company’s Quality Management Systems & Processes.

This will include
  • Ensure that all Customer quality requirements are complied with during manufacture
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction by resolving external and internal concerns promptly using appropriate continuous improvement methodology (PDCA/8D)
  • Responsibility for making informed decisions regarding line stoppages due to quality problems
  • Control of Sample Approval of new Product, including PPAP & FAI documentation
  • Creation of quality plans for new products, including developing programs for new product, patrol, in-process, and final release inspection routines while supporting the continuous improvement of the Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS)
What we are looking for…Experience within a similar role to include experience of;
  • 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 is highly desirable
