FLT Counterbalance Driver/Yard Operative

This is a temp to perm contract, all candidates have the potential to earn a permanent position within our client’s team. Upon gaining a contract you will have access to a wide range of benefits such as:

Job Details:
  • Pay Rate: £11.50 (rising to £12.01 after 12 weeks).
  • Job Type: Temp-perm.
  • Shift Pattern: Days – Working on rota of 4 on 4 off 8am-6pm.
Duties:
  • 50% of the work is on a forklift, and 50% of working is on the returnable/warehouse equipment.
  • Unload inbound deliveries and complete relevant pallet checks.
  • Load outbound trailers to our customers.
  • This is working out in the yard, in all weather conditions so must be comfortable with the cold.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must have a counterbalance forklift certification, must still be in date within 2 years.
  • Display a "can do" attitude.
