Our client, an automotive retailer representing prestigious luxury car brands in the South of the UK, is currently seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults.
  • Meet with customers to identify and understand problems as required.
  • Stay updated on the latest vehicle technology for effective diagnosis and repair.
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards.
  • Seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in challenging situations.
  • Check work quality using diagnostic equipment and road-test vehicles after completion.
  • Liaise with the Service Advisor.

Requirements:
  • Proficient in using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Capable of working to the highest quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience in a main automotive dealer is preferable but not essential.
  • VOSA-approved MOT tester is an advantage but not essential.
  • Must hold Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent.
