Full Time Support Worker

Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills
- Create and implement individualized support plans based on the needs and goals of each individual. Taking them out to participate in activities including Swimming, Bowling and the cinema.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the well-being of the individuals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals
- Patience and understanding in challenging situations
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field
