Site Engineer (Preston) - £45,000 to £55,000 DOE

Established for over 50 years, this company is a Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor who works on projects throughout the North West. Based in Preston, operating both on a regional and national scale, they provide civil works and groundwork packages covering all aspects of foundations and roads & sewers. 
Your new roleWith continued business growth, they are seeking a Site / Setting Out Engineers who understand civil packages for the likes of groundworks, foundations and roads & sewers. In this role you will be responsible for all engineering aspects on site, specifically the setting out of the work and achieving accurate dimension control for projects. 
Some of your duties will include:• Accurately setting out for groundworks, drainage, sheet piling, earthworks
• Liaising with a greater site team and keeping up to date with site developments
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety
• Liaising with client contact
• Answering technical queries
What you'll need to succeed 

  • CSCS Card
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ideally, experience using AutoCAD
  • Previous experience as a site engineer
  • Strong understanding of Civil Engineering
