Job Description:

Are you a reliable and skilled driver with a passion for delivering exceptional service? We are currently seeking a dedicated Van Driver to join our Clients team. If you possess excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused mindset, we want to hear from you.

Position: Van Driver

Location: Base/ main office in Hitchin 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate company-owned vans for the delivery and transportation of goods.
  • Deliver packages, parcels, and other items to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy in recording delivery details and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to maintain safe driving practices.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a van driver or similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with local routes and geography.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • surrounding areas around Birmingham 

Monday to Friday - Flexible hours
