We are seeking a dedicated Primary Cover Supervisor to support a Primary School in Chatham, supporting across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2. This is an ideal role for a candidate who is either looking for more classroom experience or is looking to build on previous classroom cover/support roles.

This position is starting immediately, but the school are also open to suitable candidates who will also be available to start in September 2024.

*As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere within the schools. Your responsibilities will include:*

· Supervising students and managing classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment

· Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring continuity of learning

· Providing support to individual students or small groups who may require additional assistance with their studies

· Collaborating with teaching staff and school leadership to maintain high standards of education, student welfare and maintaining safeguarding policies

· Acting as a positive role model for students, promoting good behaviour and fostering a love of learning

*The ideal candidate will possess:*

· Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents

· Adaptability and resilience to handle varying classroom situations and challenges

· A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential

· A degree isn’t required but would be beneficial
