Job Description

Other responsibilities will include:

Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
Performing repairs and troubleshooting issues with electrical and mechanical systems.
Collaborating with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Responding to equipment breakdowns and prioritising repairs to minimise downtime.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Assisting in the planning and execution of equipment installations and upgrades.
Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and addressing them promptly
Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant

Applicants should have:

Experience in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing or distribution environment.
Proven experience in maintenance engineering with a stronger leaning toward electrical engineering.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with conveyor systems, materials handling equipment, and warehouse machinery.
Electrical Installation 17th Edition
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
