Location – Ipswich (with regular travel across the UK to customer sites)

About the role:
As our Client Relationship Manager for Drax Energy Solutions (DES) you'll provide the link between DES, Thames Water and the metering agent with a methodical governed approach. You'll build rapport with internal and external stakeholders to effectively support the delivery of the contract and have line management responsibility for team members delivering the day to day activity.
You'll support the Business Optimisation Manager in developing the Thames roadmap and provide effective and innovative management of the third-party agent to support the customers portfolio acting as the principle contact for all requests relating to metering and projects on the Thames portfolio.
You'll Identify opportunities to drive business improvements and operational performance and escalate concerns to the Business Optimisation Manager and provide recommendations for solutions.
You'll lead regular meetings with meetings with SMEs and suppliers to update on progress, projects and data quality.
Who we're looking for:
To be successful in this role you'll need to have –
· Good commercial acumen and experience of managing complex contractual arrangements
· A very good understanding of the Electricity industry and the regulatory environment that governs the industry
· A detailed knowledge of different types of metering, including understanding the Meter Operators, Data Collectors and Data Aggregators in the market
· A proven ability to challenge decisions and drive improvements across the business
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal partners
