Investigo is pleased to be partnering with a global credit manager on their search for a Fund Accountant to join their growing team as they launch a handful of exciting new products and funds. 

This credit manager occupies a really unique space in the market where they can be extremely dynamic and as a result have a consistent stream of new products and launches happening.

This lean team operate an outsourced fund administration model and the role of Fund Accountant has a very broad remit. This role will allow for ownership over more operational functionality around fund structures and launches. 

The day to day role will be responsible for: 

  •  
  • Assist with aspects of launching funds/fund structures/fund share classes.
  • Assist with on boarding of investors into the Funds.
  • Assist in the execution of private loan deal closings/settlements.
  • Assist with corporate governance tasks.
  • Assist with marketing presentations, RFPs, and DDQs
  • Liaise with service providers to manage Fund NAV and Fund accounting process, including estimated Fund NAVs.
  • Prepare computations and calculations supporting the Funds (such as equalisation, management fees, drawdowns, IRRs, performance measurement, currency hedge exposure, tax and Intragroup financing).
  • Prepare Fund dividend and distribution recommendations and coordinate payments.
  • Manage the tracking, accounting, reporting and coordination of Fund expense payments.
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of Fund investor reports (including quality control).
  • Coordinate the production of Fund audited Financial Statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Fund tax and regulatory filings such as Solvency II, MiFid II.
  • Liaise with Fund Boards for approvals on drawdowns, deal funding, NAVs, distributions, and expense payments.

Requirements: 

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA OR ACA)
  • Strong working knowledge of LUX gaap and IFRA
  • Strong understanding and exposure to transfer pricing 
  • Experience working with debt or credit funds 
  • Working knowledge of capital calls, distribution calcs, performance metrics, management fee calcs and waterfall calcs.
