A large, national company with their regional office based on the outskirts of Wakefield - easily commutable from the Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract and South Leeds areas. Fantastic generalist HR admin job with a supportive HR Manager and mentor.

Your new role
You will provide a full HR administrative support for the site, covering approximately 400 employees, and supporting a HR Manager and HR Advisor with all daily HR generalist activities. You will be involved in managing the electronic employee files, coordinating the employee life cycle duties from recruitment, onboarding, starters/leavers processes and all other daily actions, using their HR system. You will use the HR IS system to provide information to senior stakeholders including HR KPIs and producing various HR reports. You will be involved in the absence management processes and TUPE transfer processes. You will work in a highly confidential manner, handling sensitive HR queries and issues, assisting with problem solving and the employee relations policy and process.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a very busy and varied HR Administration job, with exposure to all day to day generalist HR activities and having the support and guidance of a very experienced HR Advisor. You will have recent HR work experience, having worked as a HR Intern, HR Administrator or HR Assistant recently, and very strong IT skills to be able to use and interrogate the HR IS system effectively. If you are a graduate with a HR degree or are currently studying for the CIPD qualification that would be advantageous.
