Coalesce Management Consultancy (CMC) have an consulting assignment available for a Digital Design Engineer to work on a project we have based in the North East of London.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to assist with the engineering development of a high-profile defence project. The role involves electronics development from a clean sheet requirement. You will assist with requirement and architecture definition and maturation, design new PCB level electronics to work alongside COTS modules and work with the wider project team to support integration and qualification.

You will be required to be on site a minimum of 2 days per week. This is an initial 6 month assignment, with the option for extension. This role is outside of IR35.

It is highly desirable for the client if you are a UK national with the ability to gain SC.

We are looking for consultants with experience in:

  • Knowledge of all stages of the engineering development life cycle
  • Proven experience completing electronics design from a blank sheet
  • Familiarity with various PCB design tools
  • DFx knowledge specifically Design for EMC
