We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Representative to join our dynamic medical device sales team, managing the North of the UK.

Role Overview

As an Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and increasing product utilization in the OR/Surgery sector. This role requires a blend of strong sales skills and clinical knowledge, with a focus on consumables and complex physician relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within the North of the UK.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, OR staff, and hospital administrators.
  • Increase product utilization through effective sales strategies and clinical support.
  • Manage large, complex physician accounts.
  • Grow programs within existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide clinical support and product education to healthcare professionals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.

Time Allocation

  • 70% Sales activities.
  • 30% Clinical support.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales, specifically in OR/Surgery.
  • Proven track record of success in territory management and account growth.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures and OR dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in the Northern region of the UK.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
