Based in swindon you will have the flexibility to work within a model that supports both on-site and hybrid working arrangements, depending on the nature of the role. Main Responsibility- Managing a designated caseload of patients, ensuring effective prioritization and time management.
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Performing highly specialized therapeutic handling techniques to improve patient function and mobility.
- Utilizing validated outcome measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Leading goal-oriented rehabilitation programs in collaboration with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Providing clinical leadership, training, and supervision to junior staff, assistants, and students.
- Acting as a source of specialist advice for occupational therapy interventions.
- Facilitating effective interdisciplinary communication to optimize patient care and discharge planning.
- Writing detailed reports and referrals with therapeutic and discharge recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with professional, legal, and organizational policies

The Ideal Candidate- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Postgraduate training and experience in neurological, stroke, and elderly care rehabilitation.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Broad experience as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff and students.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform complex discharge planning and case management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic patient record systems.
- Full driving license and ability to travel within the community
