Job Description
You will be responsible for successful implementation of our projects for CCTV market in EMEA region. Sometimes you will need only to help our distributors and system integrators with technical inquires. Often you will take over complex customization specifications (including hardware and software) and manage that all involved parties have the same understanding and project expectations. As project owner for surveillance and AI components you will help to succeed our customers and make the world safer and more reliable.
Frequent travels through EMEA will be necessary. One of the most important countries for this position to support is UK.

Some of the main responsibilities:
- Manage projects closely, focus on solving all technical difficulties from beginning to the closure.
- Handle presales & post-sales (1st tier) technical inquiries from customers (Distributors and Key accounts).
- Help them achieve optimal project solution by providing technical assistance and system level designs.
- Customer visits, roadshows, exhibitions to promote VIVOTEK Solutions to our existing and potential customers (distributors/system integrators/end users).
- Onsite support of proof-of-concept demonstration and engage in actual site surveys.
- Troubleshooting (remote & onsite).
- Work as a team with our EMEA sales and be the bridge between the HQ technical persons (2nd Tier) and the customers.
- Assist in the integration of our products into 3rd party partner's systems.
- Provide Technical trainings targeted at distributor's engineers and system integrators.
- Hands on test and develop sales kit for latest products and technology.
Minimum Necessary Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above, majored in computer, electronics, communications, information engineering or equivalent
- More than 3 years of experience in Presales/Field Application Engineer/Technical Support in Security Video Surveillance market (IP camera manufacturers preferred).
- (Must have) English language – at least native level at reading, writing and oral
Value added Qualifications
- Be proactive in work and have excellent team spirit, communication and expression skills, good logical thinking and self-learning ability.
- Highly independent and be able to prioritize and choose logically the projects to maximize revenue.
- Experience with Confluence, Zendesk Support, Microsoft Dynamic CRM is a plus
- (big plus) Any other European language is a plus – Proficiency level at reading, writing and oral
