Company Description

'Fly a Spitfire' offers unique Spitfire passenger flights, aviation experiences and guided tours of our restoration workshops and hangars. Located at the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar at Biggin Hill Airport, our company provides an immersive, emotional and educational experience for our guests.


Role Description

This is a part time on-site role for a Tour Guide at 'Fly a Spitfire' in Biggin Hill. The Tour Guide will be responsible for conducting guided tours, communicating with customers, sharing historical and technical information, and promoting sales of aviation experiences. Assistance with general housekeeping of our facility is also expected. Tours take place on selected weekdays and Saturdays.



Qualifications

  • Guided Tours and Communication skills
  • Customer Service and Sales experience
  • Knowledge of History related to WWII and aviation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in the aviation or tourism industry is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
