Reporting to the MD, As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in leading the company's financial operations and driving their continued success. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and maximise efficiency
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Lead and manage the budgeting process
  • Formulation of annual budgets and targets
  • Coordinate and present financial statements and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
  • Review of accounts and investigation of variances then setting recovery plans.
  • Insurance/risk management
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
  • Recruitment of Office administration personnel.
  • Provide and review Training requirements for office / administration personnel.
  • Provide support and encouragement in Finance and Administration process improvements.
  • Provide support in providing information relating to Carbon reduction activity within the company.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA Qualified
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practises
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
