Medical Affairs Manager

i-Pharm Consulting are supporting a Global Pharmaceutical group in their search for an experienced Medical Affairs professional for their Ophthalmology therapy area.
We are seeking applications from experienced medical affairs professionals with final signatory status for this role, whilst previous experience of Ophthalmology Therapeutic Area would be preferable it is not essential.
You'll be working as part of a growing UK team in this global biopharma group, working across a portfolio of products which would include post-launch, additional indications and formulations as well as pipeline assets in development.
The role will be a hybrid of internal and external medical affairs activities:
- Develop relationships and engage with KOLs in your given region
- Lead and develop strategic plans and deliverables for your therapy area
- Ability to generate, analyse and interpret clinical trial and published data
- Translating insights into actionable recommendations
- Provide medical review for materials and communications
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in medical affairs within the Pharmaceutical industry
- GPhC registered pharmacist or GMC registered physician with final signatory status
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to mentor and coach peers in Medical Affairs
This role would require 2 days per week in the Hertfordshire based office.
