Job DescriptionMaintenance Electrician Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire Salary 42319 including callout fee plus vehicle excellent packagePermanent full timeWe are working with a large national facilities management contractor who have an excellent industry reputation look after their staff well and have very established and stable contracts nationally.They are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrcian ideally based around Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire and surrounding regions carrying out all planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations including non-electrical.The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPMs. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times. As a Mobile Engineer your main responsibilities will be;Duties and ResponsibilitiesComplete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairsFollow purchase order process.Identify non-repairable faults in both plant and machinery as well as general repairs and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all timesAdvise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site.Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individuals technical competence in accordance with current specifications.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites e.g. door repairs general plumbing tasksAttend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.You will be part of a 24/7 call out rota.The Successful ApplicantTo be considered for our Mobile Engineer role;NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition or 18th edition(new).3 phase electrics and its applicationsAbility to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment e.g. commercial ovens dishwashers and microwavesResponse to service call requests within agreed response timesAchievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescalesWhats On OfferSalary of 42319 salaryVehicle Travel Paid except for 1st and last 30 mins of each day Monday - Friday33 days annual leaveCallout rota 1 week in 4Private HealthcarePension contributionRegular staff meetings with engineersOvertime available but not forcedGenuine career progression Key Skills Robotics,Electrical Experience,Industrial Equipment,Industrial Maintenance,NEC,Mechanical Knowledge,Schematics,Maintenance,Hydraulics,Programmable Logic Controllers,Manufacturing,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
