Electrical Estimator (Construction)Gatwick AreaFull-Time | Permanent Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a talented individual based near Gatwick to join a well-established electrical construction contractor working across a wide range of commercial, industrial, and public sector projects. You'll play a key role in the tendering and pre-construction process, breaking down project drawings, specifications, and requirements to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects ranging from small works (£1K) to major installations up to £5M. Experience using Primavera P6 for programme analysis and tender planning is essential. Key Responsibilities Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents to determine electrical requirements.Prepare detailed bills of quantities, take-offs, and labour and material costings.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations.Assess project risks, constraints, and identify value-engineering opportunities.Support project teams and directors with tender submissions and budget planning.Utilise Primavera P6 to support programme development and tender timelines.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver cost-effective solutions.Stay up to date w...
