The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive Marketing Executive to tell the next chapter of The Francis Hotels story. As the hotel embarks on a transformative £13M renovation, this role is crucial in repositioning The Francis as the premier destination to stay, dine and unwind in the heart of Bath.

We are seeking someone who is not just organised and detail-oriented but also deeply curious about everything Bath has to offer. You will not only uncover and share the stories of Bath but will also build lasting connections with locals and colleagues alike, bringing the essence of the city into everything we do. Your passion for storytelling will shine through across all marketing channels, from social media and PR to digital campaigns, helping to weave the rich narrative of The Francis Hotel into the fabric of Bath.

No two days will be the same, offering you the chance to dive into the full spectrum of marketing from brand strategy to digital, website and email campaigns. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit and a flair for a creative approach are essential to work with the hotel team to bring The Francis Hotels new chapter to life.

You are inquisitive:

The Francis Hotel is the heartbeat of Bath, nestled in the citys first Georgian square, and embodies the down-to-earth, welcoming spirit of the community. Like the hotel, you are curious and eager to learn about everything happening locally. You will share your knowledge and passion through friendly and informative emails, stunning web content, and engaging social media content (images and videos). Your role will be to help drive the marketing campaign plan forward, making The Francis the go-to place for discovering what is happening in Bath.

You are passionate:

You are committed to doing things right and are a passionate advocate for Bath. You will spearhead campaigns that attract locals to our brand-new brasserie with an open kitchen, and create buzz around our innovative thermal spa experience, featuring treatments not yet seen in the UK. Through strategic partnerships, collaborations, sponsorships, PR, advertising, and thoughtful collateral, you will make The Francis Hotel the talk of the town and a must-visit for locals.

You are creative:

Bath is a city with a rich history of discovery and innovation. In 1781, Herschel discovered Uranus from his home on King William Street, and Beau Nash invented the first carriagestodays taxis. In this role, you will collaborate with the wider marketing team to lead creative thinking and develop innovative marketing strategies that leave the competition behind and position The Francis Hotel as a top choice in Bath. You love creating content or working with other content creators to bring Bath and the hotel to life through photography and video.

The Francis Hotel is not just a place to stay; it is a cultural hub that reflects the vibrant heritage of Bath. You have a deep appreciation for the arts, history, and the unique character of the city. You will work to ensure that The Francis Hotel is not only a luxury destination but also a place where guests and locals alike can experience the cultural richness of Bath.
