Grade 3 Physiotherapist - RehabilitationMaternity Leave role - 12 months - Part time 20 hours per weekAre you a Senior Physiotherapist looking to join a dynamic interdisciplinary rehabilitation teamDo you have a passion for managing a varied fast stream rehabilitation case loadThis is the job for you.In this role you will be required to:lead the provision of high-quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention to maximise functional independence safety and quality of life of our patientsAssist the physiotherapy team leader and allied health manager with department operational managementAdditional responsibilities include:clinical leadership for the inpatient physio teamsupervision/mentoring of Grade 2/Grade 1 physios and studentsLead program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Departmentcoordinating and leading professional development /trainingProvide leadership to staff to ensure a positive and harmonious working environment within team.Acts as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team including Nursing teams Allied Health teams and medical personnelparticipating in case conferences and family conferences and actively contributing to team processes and practices.Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum.Maintains a professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners using a customer service mindset to enable high quality patient outcomes.At Dorset Rehabilitation we offer an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services in various specialties including orthopaedics neurology cardiac falls and balance hydrotherapy rehab in the home and pain management.
