Seeking a meticulous and organized individual passionate about the legal field to join our team as a Litigation Secretary. In this role, you'll provide crucial support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation department. Responsibilities: Case Management: Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including document preparation, filing, and maintaining case files. Calendar Management: Coordinate attorney schedules, including court dates, appointments, and deadlines, while liaising with clients and court personnel as necessary. Document Preparation: Draft and format legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and motions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Research: Conduct legal research using online resources to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy development. Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and other parties involved in litigation matters, handling correspondence promptly and professionally. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to attorneys, including managing billing activities and maintaining office supplies.
