We cultivate bold collaborations with industry and government that unlock new pathways for innovation and discovery.From agriculture to oceans medicine to space defence to data our team connects world-class research with commercial opportunity accelerating solutions that shape industries and improve lives.About the opportunity You will play a significant role in managing and leading a portfolio of industry engagement projects in the health and medical sector.Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to grow research collaborations.Provide support and assistance to the team in opportunity identification project planning project delivery proposal/presentation drafting and data analysis.You will work collaboratively with colleagues across UWA and the OICD to support the portfolios growth strategy and strategic imperatives.About youTertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in a health and medical related field.Demonstrated understanding of how research is conducted within a university environment including knowledge of appropriate funding opportunities.Business development skills and commercial acumen with the ability to identify research partnership growth opportunities.Substantial project management experience with the demonstrated ability to plan implement and complete projects to good outcomes.Note: Occasional travel within the state and interstate may be required.Position description: PD Industry Engagement Manager To learn more about this opportunity please contact Paul Collings at How to applyPlease apply online via the Apply Now button.
