Job: Procurement Coordinator (FTC)

Location: Ledbury or Evesham

Salary: up to £35,000k DOE

Job type: Fixed Term Contract ( 12 months ) , Full Time

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 0830 -1700



Summary:


The successful candidate will support the Procurement Manager site based in Ledbury or in Evesham by building and maintaining strong and positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders at all times. You will effectively evaluate supply options across a varied goods and services portfolio and provide an exceptional Procurement Service .


Duties :


- Interface with all functions to plan and prioritise supply activities.

- Review planned orders and create requisitions for raw material.

- Support Procurement Specialist with all procurement functions.

- Manage UK Extrusion procurement – forecast process – S&OP.

- Track order acknowledgement, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.

- Track orders and confirm system lead times delivery dates and cost.

- Review, update and maintain purchase orders until they are closed.

- Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, report non-conformances.

- Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.

- Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies.

- Control inventory level vs budget.


Skills and experience:


• Experienced in using SAP / Excel experience.

• Work well under pressure with great time management

• Fantastic communication and influencing skills

• Ability to build sustainable and productive relationships with suppliers

• Excellent attention to detail
