Looking to make a real difference while working in the heart of picturesque Buckinghamshire? Join this innovative charity serious about saving lives and providing critical care to those in need. As a Legacy Officer, you'll play a vital role in the fundraising team, managing the administration and stewardship of legacy donations that help support life-saving work.
The Role
You'll work closely with the Individual Giving Development Manager to develop and implement the legacy program. You'll have the opportunity to engage with our dedicated supporters, organising visits, meetings, and events that inspire new legacy pledges and strengthen relationships – sounds like fun right? A keen eye for detail and the gift of the gab will guarantee the smooth handling of legacy cases and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, helping you to succeed in this role.
What we are looking for
A proven track record in legacy fundraising, excellent numeracy skills for financial analysis, and a deep understanding of relationship fundraising techniques.
It would be amazing if you had an understanding of medical/ emergency services or the ability to translate medical issues into compelling fundraising proposals so please let us know if that's the case
