SITE AGENTRate: £45-£50 per hour (Inside of IR35)Duration: 12 Months - depending on construction timescales, may be extendedLocation: Site based, Faslane, Argyll & ButeThe Site Agent will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control. They will deliver the project to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The post-holder will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers and Site Supervisors to ensure the project is completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.Key Responsibilities: Site Management Assume overall responsibility for the safe & timely delivery of construction on siteDeliver the work safely and without environmental incidentsDeliver the work to the specified quality without defectsManage and coordinate site staff, including subcontractors and suppliersEnsure production and implementation of RAMS, ITP's and waste Management plan, in line with company procedures & client expectationsEnsure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised within the NEC contract conditionsManage the site to ensure adequate resources & materials are available when required to complete the tasksClient interfaceClient facing role, representing the business to our customersDaily setting to work and progress meetings on siteDeliver end product to customer satisfactionProduce good quality, accurate reports and communications to the Client and internallyCost controlReport site information to the Project Manager to maximise project valueEnsure detailed site diaries/records are completedEndeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunitiesKey relationships:Customers and stakeholdersSubcontractors and suppliersSite teams and support departmentsPerson Specification:The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria:Considerable experience in Civil EngineeringExperience working on Defence and/or Nuclear sitesWorking knowledge of NEC contract conditions & CDM regulationsGood knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineeringDegree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalentCSCS managers cardIOSH Managing Safely or SMSTSExperience with Temporary Works DesignConfined space awareness trainingProgramme and Risk Management experienceAbility to challenge and resolve problems to conclusionAbility to demonstrate the right behaviours, lead and motivate the team to ensure the culture is in line with our Company values & client expectationsThe applicant must have or be able to obtain full UK Security Check (SC) clearance SITE AGENT
